Where to start?
You're here. Perhaps for a reason.
There are many reasons to consider therapy. You may already be in contact with your own reasons, or perhaps you find yourself here but unsure why. We don't always need to understand the why straight away (or at all). But perhaps we could give space to the feeling? Honour its existence.
I wonder if any of the following resonate with you?
- A wish to connect with yourself on a deeper level
- Repeated relationship problems and ongoing relationship dissatisfaction (e.g. frequent loss of friends and/or multiple romantic partners)
- Emotional dysregulation where you may feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, which may result in unexplained tearfulness, outbursts, or saying/ doing things you do not mean, especially in close relationships
- Long-standing low mood, feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, guilt and/ or shame
- Issues with self-esteem and self-image, such as feeling ugly, disgusting and/or disliking yourself
- Physical pain or discomfort that does not have a medical explanation
- Engaging in behaviours that may cause you concern such as alcohol and drug use, self-injury, sexual promiscuity, over- or under-eating and over-working
- Changes in your sexual arousal and satisfaction, such as a loss of libido or difficulty reaching orgasm
- Frequent dissociation where you feel out of touch with reality, and/ or experience feelings of emptiness
- Integration work post-psychdelic use
- Have you undergone a course of short-term psychotherapy (such as CBT) and felt it to be relatively ineffective in addressing deeper areas

Is there more that comes to you that you may like to consider together, such as your reason/s for seeking therapy, therapeutic fit, therapeutic modalities, length of therapy, cost or something else?
I would like to offer those sensations more space. So, please feel welcome to reach out.
